Will red wine ruin in 8o degree home?
I have a wine rack with about 12 red wines, mostly pinot noir. I live in Southern California, hot in the summer, during working hours, I do not turn on the air conditioner. The home gets about 80 degrees. Is my wine OK? Am I better off putting it in the refrigerator?

The fluctuation of tempreture will certainly do it more harm than good, do you have a cellar or a place under the stairs where the temp is more even??

With the temp. going up and down to that high of a temp, your wine will not last very long. Your better off putting in the fridge where it is virtually the same temp all the time. Also, you want to store wine at lower temps rather than higher (above freezing) and keep the bottle on its side.
