Okay here is the problem. st off we are in FL so its hot as hell! We have central air (2 zone system) both condenser units are outside and the air exchange/handler is in attic in garage. The problem is that the condesor is leaking out of a small hole that is just below the copper water line that goes into the handler. Being that is hotter than normal and condensation is overly high because of this. The drain pan fills up and this makes the overflow sensor engage and thus turns off the handler and then A/C blows warm in house. We called tech and he has been out several times but says everytning looks normal and that there is not any signs of leaks. He then vacums water out of drain pan, resets sstem and we have cold air for a couple of days until pan fills and now I go up and vacum water out and reset system. THis is getting old, I am courious if it is normal for the water to come out of this hole and if I put a PVC drain into pan so the water will not fill up to shut off switch. I asked the A/C guy to do this but he said it was not necessary, I say it is if I have to keep going up into garage attic.
