I have a 1992 chevy CK 1500 extended cab and I am in the need to remove the spare tire I looked at it and I am not quite sure how to remove it there is no bolt or anything just a kind of rubbery thing holding it on... help! :)

Taking out spare tires is rather daunting. My thought the same thing in my Subaru stationwagon and looked and thought it through. I didn't really want to ask anyone how to do it, but you know, I was just too proud and figured it out myself.
