My friend was telling me about a movie today but doesn't remember the name or any of the actors that starred in it.

It is over 20 years old and the beginning sequence is a bizarre game show that has a guy being put to death by guillotine and if he lands face up his family wins a vast array of prizes. He distincly remembers the wife shouting out "flip it up, honey!" right before the blade drops and the two officials giving a thumbs up.

I suggested it was Running Man with arnold Schwarzenegger and Richard Dawson, but he doesn't think so.

Ring a bell to anyone? Would love to add this to my Netflix list.

The title of the movie is Deathrow Gameshow. 1987 or 1988.

It's so stupid it's almost good. Unfortunately, it is not available on netflix, but you can probably find it on eBay.

The IMdB review of it says it is stupid, but funny stupid.
