    Stoichiometry questions
How many grams of O2 can be produced by decomposing 100.0g of BaO2 to BaO and O2?

    I started by balancing 2BaO2 yields 2BaO + O2

    100.0g of BO2 x 1 mol O2 x 32g mol O2 = 18.9g of O2 produced
    ---------- ----------
    169.3g BaO2 1 mol O2

I feel like I didn't set this up right. I thought I had to use the 2:1 rati of 2 BaO and 1 O2

Am I somewhat on the right track?
