Can a company come after you 10 years after the alleged non payment?

They may come after you till they day you die,and come after the estate after that.

After the statue of limitation ( time varies) they can no longer sue you in court for a judgement. If they have a judgement it is good normally for 10 years but can be renewed very easy.

But they may continue to write you, bill you, attempt to collect, call you and so on till you are in the ground and still look for change on the ground around you.
