My fan only goes in one direction... it has a button that says Rev on the remote, but, doesn't seem to work. The model # is UC7080T.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to check the fan body for a reverse switch, although I doubt there is one.

Yes, the LED lights up... and you're right, there is no switch on the fan...

Most likely a bad receiver. If the reverse feature if that important, you can order a new receiver or replace the fan. Somewhere on these forums there is a "bootleg" solution to reverse the fan manually, I don't remember it.
