I have oulook 2003, I was sending emails but for some reason I had a problem and the emails has not been sent, they are moved to outbox, and the oulook was disconnected and I cannot send or receive any new messages.

To solve this problem I have to uninstall and reinstall the TCP/IP protocol, and the outlook rerun normally, but the emails in the outbox folder was not sent and they disappeared from outbox.

Is that supposed to happen, and there is any way to retrieve the removed emails??

Make sure that they are not in the sent items.

I already check them, they aren't no where in outlook... weird..
