Measuring for Sub-Rough positioning of traps and Bends
    Hi,

Can the experts shed some light on how the locations of traps or closet bends are located for sub-rough
Trenching/placement under a slab. Trying to visualize how these measurments are determined if there are no solid reference points other than maybe lines stung from corner to corner. Seems the measurements would have to be very accurate for slab to be poured or is the solution to use flex pipe box framed into the approximate location for adjusting +/- 1 or 2" after the slab is poured ? Appreciate any enlightment.

    Thx,
    Tracy

Stringing control lines that represent the position of the framing is the only way I'll even start the ground work phase of a Plumbing job.

If the contractor is unsure of the wall layouts, then I pack up my tools and tell him or her to call me when they have a definitive layout.
