    Garbage desposal leak
I Have a leaking Insinkreator. It appears to come right from the electrical cord area. Are garbage desposal desposable? Is there any point in taking it apart to find the leak?
Even then will I be able to get the parts? Thanks in advance for your help.

You leak is likely the seal on the discharge tube. The water runs down the inside of the insulated jacket and appears to come out of the electric connection. The seal is usually held in place with one hex nut screww, try tightening it or replacing it before you do something that may be unnecessary. Try this and come back if your leak is still present.
