5 years difference.but is it in the legal age limits?
Im 14 and my boyfriends 19 and he's turning 20 3 day before I turn 15. Is that illegal  or is it only illegal if parents press charges.
My mom and step-dad know about him, but my real dad and my step-mom don't know about him, but my mom doesn't care.

The fact that you are 14 makes it illegal for him to have sex with you. You are still considered a minor in most states and statutory rape could be filed against him. If your parent's are okay with it, then you really don't have a problem. Usually it's the parent's that end up filing charges on older boyfriends if their daughter is having "consentual" sex without their knowledge.

I cannot stress this enough - if your boyfriend is charged with statutory rape he will go to prison and not only will he go to prison BUT he will to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life. That means every single time he moves he has to alert his neighbors of the fact that he is a sex offender. He will face discrimination and bad treatment by prospective employers, landlords, etc all because he is having sex with you. People will think that he was arrested for having sex with little kids not his girlfriend. Be smart.

Just as an additional warning on the first response, just because some of the parents (such as your mom) say they're okay with it now doesn't mean they always will. People tend to get overprotective about their children and if something happens in the future, then things can change and what was once okay all of a sudden isn't anymore. Your boyfriend could get into very serious trouble even years after the fact.

Be smart, don't put yourself or your boyfriend in a position that could irrevocably change the directions of your lives because you couldn't keep your pants on for a few years.

Yes, it is illegal just because of your age. A 20 year old has no business at all being with a 14 year old.

    I'm interested in a 14 year old, but I'm 16!

    20 is far to old.

He is a pervert plain and simple. He is a child molester. He's not your boyfriend, he is out for fresh meat.

Pictoshabib also if you were to turn up pregnant, then the hospital or school could turn in your boyfriend to the police.

I hope the others have made a proper impression on you. If you have sex with this guy, he's toast.

But I'm going to approach this from a different angle. There is a huge gulf between 14 and 19 (or even 15 & 20). It is very hard to imagine what a 19 year old would see in a 14 yr old, besides sex. Their worlds are so vastly different. So I just don't see any future in this besides maybe jail for this loser.

I kid I kid, but this is a serious situation. I don't know who you are really but I beg of you not to do anything more than be friends with this guy.
