    Utility sink in bassement
I have just a washer and dryer in the basement and I would like to install a utility sink. How do you drain the sink properly. I am pretty handy and would like to try to do myself.

You may tee off the washer vent and connect the utility sink trap back to it.
This will provide a vent as well as a drain. Good luck, Tom

Thank you.. Do I need to worry about height as to where I go into the washer vent/drain? I was afraid I would have to create gravity somewhere or cut into the main stack (which is not PVC). I know I have to have a trap under the sink and drain from there.
