    Kitten drinking milk
I have a 9 week old female kitten "Pompom" that I adopted a week ago. During the night she tried to suckle my neck, so I put a dish of Pet's Own (low lactose )Milk which I water down by about 40%. Since then she has been drinking and drinking almost constantly except while sleeping! Is this normal? Any suggestions?

The suckling was probably because She misses her mother, She was weaned too early or It comforts her and she may do it her entire life. The milk may not hurt her but are you setting up a habit that will be hard to break, with putting the milk in her water. Also milk is sweet and cats like sweetness, that is what attracts them to anti-freeze. If I thought she was thirsty all of the time, I would consider having her checked by a vet for diabetes.
