I have a fairly new TV that cannot be attached to my current cable system(too far away) I have all the necessary parts for the DVD player (cables). The TV also has no anttena (it was in storage) . Can anyone tell me what I need to connect my DVD player to a TV with no cable or antenna? Thanks!

If the DVD has coax, you've got it made. Run the cable from the DVD player output to the TV Video input. These input connection are probably on the back of the TV. If the TV has more than one input, just use number one.

If you have the three wire (RCA) cable, run from the DVD audio A and B, and video output colormatched to the TV audio A and B, and video input. This, too, is usually on the back of the TV, but some have input socket inside a front panel. Your TV may differ.

    Good luck

Worst case, DVD has no Coax, and TV has Only Coax.
I get a Modulator ($12 at dollar store)RCA even, and hook red, white, and yellow in to modulator, and hook Coax out from modulator to TV coax in. Select 3 or 4 on modulator and TV.
