    Kitchen Sink, Dishwasher and Washer
Hi, my son was cleaning a fish tank and spilled gravel evidently down the bathtub drain, ever since on occasion the kitchen sink, dishwasher and washer back up into that tub, this will last sometimes for days then stop... then suddenly begin to occur again. Best ways to clear whatevers causing this?

    Thanks

Your stoppage is downstream from the sink and washer drain so you would have to go down the sink vent with a snake that has a cutter tip on the end. Put out enough cable to get you outside of the house. This breaks the gravel loose from the grease, fiber and crud on the pipe walls. Then I would run a hose down the vent and cycle the washer a few time to flush them out in the sewer main. Good luck, Tom
