I tried searching for the answer to my question but I couldn't find one on here. I'm 16 years old, and I've never had sex. I'm on my period right now but its not really blood, its dark brown stuff with a little blood in it. My period was like this last month too. I have the same symptoms I would as if I was having a regular period, and its pretty much on time still too. Is this normal or should I go see a doctor?

There was practically no blood this time, or last time either. And the brown stuff isn't heavy at all. Before my last period I used to have a little brown discharge at the end of my period. I'm not on birth control either. Still normal?

This is perfectly normal. It is known as "old blood"

This is normal. Dark brown discharge is usually in indicator of old blood. This is most common at the beginning and end of your period :)

If you are not sexually active then this should be nothing to worry about considering your age.
