My sister is staying with me in my brother-in-laws house. She went to jail for an assault charge for hitting my daughter in this house. Now she is getting out of jail and refuses to leave. How can we make her leave. We are in the state of TX and I don't know renter/tenant rights or if they exist if she is just staying here for a short period. PLEASE HELP!

Your sister is considered a resident of that property. You didn't give us any details about a lease or anything so it is not possible to go further. Are you a guest of the BIL or do you have a lease? What about your sster, guest or lease?
