    Maytag Dryer Squeak Squeaky
My 3 year old dryer has a squeak. It squeaks all the time and not just on heavy loads. It's NOT a super high pitch (like a scream) or a grinding noise. It's a kind of "cherp" - more like a bird. I don't think it's the "awful" squeak others have described. Please help.

Pull the lint trap out and check neat the blower for a object there.Magtags are known for object like pencils nails etc getting in this area if they may have been left in pockets. Next I would check the rollers.

You will have to open unit up and look at rear side. May have to remove the drum.
