    Wedding invitation wording
    Hi all..

My cousin is getting married. Both his parents passed away. Could anybody help with the wording arrangement if he wants to put my uncle's name as a person who representing his parents?

    Thank you

I'm assuming that the uncle is like a parent to your cousin.

Maybe some words that capture the special connection between them.

Here is one idea: Appreciating the love and care of {uncle's name}.

Just a thought. Sorry, I'm not an expert. Hope that helps.

    Just a suggestion:

Join us to the marriage of
    Jane Doe
    Daughter of Evelyn and Marion
    To
    John Smith
Son of the late Martha and Edward

    We did:
    Sara Jane Jones
    &
    Sam John Smith
Together with their parents (your cousin could replace parents with "families")

I think if they want to mention the deceased parents, as mentioned above (son of the late... ) its OK, and you could follow it with the line "and represented by...."

If mentioning the parents is not desired, and he wants to mention the uncle, why not simply state friends name, "nephew to [uncles name]"

The answer to his relationship would be helpful... in that was the man rasied or cared for by his uncle? How old was he when he lost his parents?
