    Worried about bumps
I get tested regularly with my GYN and I am good about getting paps and annuals to make sure Im healthy. So, I am really concerned and worried about this. Ive been itching for a few days on my vagina and I thought it was a yeast infection because Ive had that twice recently but I'm not so sure. I discovered a couple bumps right around the opening of my vagina and they are sort of grouped together. I'm not sure if that's what is itching but I'm pretty sure it's a good guess. It itches, it never hurts though. They're really tiny. I have an appt. in a couple days with my GYN to get it checked out but what could this be? And what can I do about it?

It sounds like a rash to me. If you get tested regularly and come out clean, I doubt it is an STD, but you never know. You might want to get tested again just to be sure.

Moisture can cause rashes. You can buy powder sprays to help keep yourself dry down there. You can find these sprays near the maxi pads.

One question though, do you shave? If so, it could also be ingrown hairs.

Yes I shave everything so it could be that. But these bumps are strange to me. Also, today I noticed they went down a little bit. It still itches but not necessarily around the bumps. Another thing I forgot to mention was that it hurt having sexa couple times, almost like it was tearing me up. I'm going in tomorrow and haven't had sex in three days because that's what they said to do before the check up. I wonder if that's why the bumps went down? Thanks for your help

Shaving can cause ingrown hairs and razor burn, which is very itchy. Razor burn can also cause pain with sex.

It is a good thing you are going to your doctor, you can never be too careful :)
