I found out today that my 14 year old girlfriend is not pregnant thank god. She's is too young to be having sex anyway and so am I (16) but we are very attractive to each other yet she doesn't want to have sex anymore. I want to have sex but only if I have a condom and she is on birthcontrol and the reason why we were worried if she was pregnant is because we did the withdrawl method. Should I explain to her now that I want to continue to do it but only with extreme protection with a condom and birthcontrol or should I wait it out and let her stress and worring go down I don't want to make it seem I'm only thinking for myself cause I'm not. I'm thinking about her life as well. Any proviable information will be appreciated

If she said she doesn't want to have sex anymore, respect her wishes. If you keep pushing her to have sex, you could push her away from you and your relationship as well :)

Conceived while using birth control. And my wife was older then than your girlfriend... meaning generally less fertile.

So... remember, sex with protection still means potential pregnancy. She know this. And she knows she's not ready mentally to deal with the consequences.

If you can't respect that, you need to walk away.

I think you should just wait for her answer and let her come to you. You don't want to pressure her into doing something she doesn't want. That can hurt your relationship and change her feelings twards you.

If you know your both too young for sex, and the consequences of having it, then you must stop and respect each other more. You 've already had one scare, and got lucky, but if you keep taking chances, one day you will have to face her being pregnant.

Everyone is right here - respect your girlfriend's wishes about not having sex. You cannot understand what was going through her mind as she thought she was pregnant.

If you two do decide to have a sexual relationship, please - both of you - go to a family planning clinic or public health clinic and get educated on birth control and STD's. It is a shame that with all the information out there and the free help out there, that there still are young people who have no knowledge as to what they are doing and the consequences of playing adult.

I'd wait it out until she's really ready. Having sex at such young ages, even if you take all necessary precautions to prevent pregnancy, STDs, etc. can amount to emotional suicide. That's something that can't be protected with a condom or birth control pills. No doubt your girlfriend is already struggling with that and why she's lost interest, at least for now.

There are other ways to enjoy each other sexually without having intercourse, try some of them.
