    Hello I have a 89 Camry when I put the key in the ignition and try to crank it and it won't crank it is manual and the only way it cranks over is when I push it what could it be? Please answer ASAP I would appreciate it

    Bad battery. If the problem develops again, after replacing the battery, have the alternator tested.

    It could also be a problem with the clutch safety switch. Or, excess voltage drop going to the starter, loose connection at the ignition switch...

    If you're not familiar with electrical diag on cars, I'd recommend you take it to a qualified ASE certified shop and have it checked. The wrong wire , or the wrong wrench in the wrong spot can arc and cause much more damage.
