    Adult dog and puppy chow
Hi--I mistakenly bought the wrong kind of dog food for our 5 year old Brittany--I got her normal type, Eukanuba Lamb and Rice, but accidentally bought the puppy version of it. Will eating it be a problem for her? Should I buy new food, or let her eat this and buy new food next time? Thanks!

How long will the bag last, a month? I hope it wasn't the small breed puppy chow. I can't believe the extra calories and minerals will have any long range effect. Since it is the same protean sources, it shouldn't disturb his digestion. You may want to keep an eye on his waist. I don't know if Spaniels have the weight problem Labs do or not. Just look a little closer next time.

Easy enough to do. At least Eukanuba color codes there bag fairly well. You just need to remember the color and pattern. Maybe I need to key into the color of the Pro Plan I am feeding now. I really wonder how much difference there is in all these specialty formulations. I do know the small breed puppy chow is extremely rich. As the pet stores are forced to carry large and large inventories in order to have just what people are looking for, I am sure it raises their costs, and then the prices we pay.
