    Issue with potential roommate.
    Hey everyone,
Here is a quick story to clarify things.
I was answering adds in a classifieds area of a well known online marketplace for room rentals in my city. Anyhow, I answer this one add that is in my ballpark and I go to take a look (I'm getting to good part). Turns out, the room is being rented out by a single female a year younger then myself. She requested only males in her search for a roommate, and she's drop dead gorgeous. I'm a pretty level headed guy, and it seems like it could just be a innocent request for a roommate, but I actually want to live there. How do I progress in this situation? What could she be thinking in her own mind to ask for purely male roommates? Let me know, or if I made you laugh a bit, yw.
    Cheers
    C

Some women just don't get along well with other females. There's usually a lot of cattiness and competition... especially when one of them is gorgeous. So... maybe she is being innocent!

There is no way I could ever live with another female not related to me again.

Women tend to be VERY territorial about where they live, and issues about how the living room is arranged or how the cupboards are set up turn into major issues.

I'm sure she is being perfectly innocent, and just wants peace in her home space.

I was in a situation like this with a very attractive woman. It turns out that there were some guys in the neighborhood that used their son to come over. The woman was too nice or soft. The guys would send their little boy over and knock on the door. She loved kids so she would play with him for a while, then ten or fifteen min later they came with their advances. I later found out that I was only there to keep the creeps away. It turned out good for me because we got drunk and actually had pretty good sex, although it never happened again it did kind of changed things. If I were you Id' go for it. That was an experience. U only live once

All of the responses are possible, so I would use them as a guide. Maybe is is genuine, or maybe she is looking for a protector. She could be territorial. These are all things you should figure out becore you put down a deposit. You may find it surprisingly easy to simply ask her, "why do you only request male roomates?" Hope I was helpful.

I agree with many of the other posts.

Some women don't want the company of other women in their living space. I have a friend who would rather room with four guys than any girls... and she isn't a perv and wouldn't be looking for favors.

Of course, she might be fishing for fun, but you can't count on it.

Maybe she just feels safer with a guy in the place. Don't make any assumptions however. Think with the big head and not the little one.
