    I'm so confused.
Hiya I would like some advice/help please I'm a little confused about my period this month. Ever since I was 12 I have had regular periods every months they always start on the 13th of every month, and last for five days. During this month I stupidly had unprotected sex twice this month. I started my period a day early on the 12th and my period only lasted a day and a half it was very light and was a pinkish colour. I was wondering if it was implantation bleeding. I haven't taken a pregnancy test yet becose I don't if it would be to early to detect. I'm so confused... :confused

It is possible that you are pregnant. Not everyone experiences implantation bleeding, so it is hard to tell, especially since you did start to bleed around the time you were supposed to.

Take an HPT and see what it says. Make sure you use your first morning urine as it is the most accurate. Also, you can always go to your doctor and request a blood test.

There are a number of things that can alter your periods and cause them to be irregular, such as stress, diet and some medications.

I would also suggest getting on some kind of birth control if you are not pregnant :)

You got great advice from Nauticalstar420. I just wanted to add that just because your period has always been normal up until this point, doesn't mean it won't change as time passes. Your body/hormones are always changing. These changes are usually so subtle that we don't notice them. However, there are times that we will be late, or miss a cycle completely, and its for reasons other then pregnancy. Its not uncommon. You could be pregnant, you could just be experiencing normal hormonal changes, it could be due to stress(esp since you were probably worried about the possibility of being pregnant, after having the unprotected sex), illness, change in lifestyle, exercise, etc. Since you aren't sure if it was a real period or not, you can take a hpt now. If it comes up negative, wait for your next period to come. If its still irregular or doesn't come at all, take another test and/or see your doctor. Good luck to you.
