    Wiring honeywell thermostat
    Dear sir,
    I purchased a honeywell digital thermostat, non programmable, and replacing the honeywell mechanical. The prooblem is i used terminals g y o w2on the old the new has e aux ygolrbc,i can hook up the gyo but,where does the brown wire go.the new honeywell is for heat pump also th321od

    The aux will go to w2 , red to "R", the yellow to y, green to g, orange to o, if the brown went to "W2 on the old stat then it will go to aux. on the new stat.

    Installing armstrong heat pump to the TH3210D. Armstrong's wiring diagram has R,G,C,W,E,L,O,Y. The W terminal goes to the air handler to W1 & W2 then to condensing unit W. The 3210 has E,Aux,Y,G,O,L,R,B,C.
