Separate them both.
Oh goodness, we have been doing that the whole time. Just seems that we are always separated and when it really comes down to it, I would like us to be able to enjoy the time we have together. I would like to know how to have them get along.
You have to sit them down, you and dad and them, no one else, and talk to them. Set limits, ground rules and possible punishments. Let them decide their own punishments, however, you have the final say so.
It has always worked for me.
Thanks J, I will have a meeting.
They HAVE to know there are consequences for their actions. They MUST know what the consequences are.
Yes I agree. And I think we have let it slide way too much with our current situation. Thanks, J. I just needed that little reminder and we will be on our way.
Stay consistent hun, consistency is key.
Ok, OK, OK. I am feeling quite bad, and sometimes they feel that in the ways I am not consistent. So changes to be had, AGAIN!
Well is there anything that they both like doing? My older brother and I used to play video games together and got along really well whenever we were playing, he would be all proud of me because I was AWESOME. Don't get me wrong though, when we weren't playing, we'd argue as siblings do. We're 4 years apart, so almost the same thing. And, the great part was that because of the fact that we BOTH loved video games, my parents bought us every new game system when they came out! Haha!
