    Tenant Lockout
I'm renting weekly for a commercial space in VA. I have a signed lease. What are my rights regarding the landlord locking me out of the space? I would like to know if the "wrongful eviction/lockout" is worth pursuing? My payments were behind by 4 weeks, but I never paid weekly from the start; I paid every 3 weeks and the checks were cashed and no notices have been given to me.

You may have been in violation of your lease but you can't be locked out. The LL could try eviction but lock out puts him in the hot seat. Although I would recommend pursing this issue in court, I'd also try to pay on time. Reread your lease carefully to be sure you haven't agreed to something different regarding late payments but you should be on fair soild ground.
