    Hair dye removal
    [F]hi

I have been having this real problem over my hair colour. I have been dying and highlighting my hair for about 8 years now. I am still young and in my teens with very thick hair. Naturally my hair is very dark brown and I have always highlighted blond, at the moment the colour is still light brown but i am fed up with dying my hair as it is really thick and long my hair takes long to dye and i have had one or two occasions where the colour went orange. :(

So I now want to get rid of my color and get it back to its natural dark brown without to much damage should I go to the hairdressers and remove the colour? but by doing this will my natural colour be affected?
Or should I get it dyed back to the natural colour? though i am really scared the colour will be different or even go orange

please help! Im confused everyone is telling me to try different things

You can strip the color out of you hair, but it will damage your hair and it will most probably not be your original color. You will have to dye it again to get it back to the original color. I used to dye my hair a lot and got tired of it. I found a color that was as close to my original color and dyed my hair for one last time. It may be better to go to a professional and they can do a better job at getting it to your original color. I'm not sure if you know this, but hair dye makes your hair even thicker! So if you already have thick hair, then the dye is making it worse!
