Judgement to be filed against me
Someone is getting ready to file a judgement against me for $500. I rented a warehouse which was beside an auction house. The power for both buildings ran on the same meter. I am moving out now and the auction house people say I owe them $500 for power bill. There is no contract for the renting of the warehouse I rented or a contract with the auction house people for use of the power. I was in the warehouse about 8 months and might have used the power a total of 2 hours. Just some fluorescent lights. There is no way I used $500 worth of power, although they say the power bill went up $60 per month. My question is "Without any type of written contract, can they win this judgement"?
I was told by the landlord that the power would be shared and that is something I would have to work out with them.

Did you ever work out something with them? If the landlord told you that the utilities were shared and you never negotiated with them, then there is a good chance they will win. If they come in with utilitie bills from before you rented and after, then its almost a certainty they will win.
