I want to paint my vinyl post. They have a shine to them. Can this be done? They are white and I want to paint them a clay to match the house. Thanks I need help.

Clean the post with TSP and lightly sand with 200 paper. Primer with Zinsser 123 Bullseye primer. Top coat is you choice as long as it's a good exterior pain, oil or latex. I'd go latex.
