My girlfriend has been playing hot and cold with me. Every time I talk to her, her mood changes. One minute she is happy, one minute she seems depressed or mad. Is this normal? I ask her what is wrong and she says "nothing". She hasn't been my girlfriend for very long, does it sound like I should continue dating her? Any advice would help.

Well girls get offended easily, I will say that. So it's probably not as uncommon as most people would like to think. A lot of girls play this game or hide their feelings. So it's your job to play along, solve the problem, or get her to be more open about how she feels. And, the whole "nothing" thing, well that's just BS there is something. You really have to be patient with her and try to find out what are the problems she is having. And, can you solve them? If it's too much work for you or she's being too difficult then myabe it's not to be for you and her.

Could be many things mate. Could be hormones, could be stress from work or school, could be stress caused by yuou irritating her. Endless reasons she may be like this.

If she hasn't been with you long and is annoying you already then perhaps you need to assess whether it is worth it. If it is maybe you just have to bite your tongue considering it is only early or if you could be upfront and talk to her.

Maybe she is having a dose of pms

I say get the hell out of dodge while the getting is good. If you ask her and she won't tell you then what else can you do? Beg her ? I think not. Are you going to have to worry each time you call and try to figure out what kind of mood she is going to be in. I say go and be glad that she showed you who she was before you got in to deep.

I agree with bushg on this one. She sounds scary and high-maintenance. What some would describe as a minefield of passion: you never know when your going to step on one.

I'd say that you should lift a prayer up to God and tell Him what is going on and tell Him that if it is meant to be, let it be and if not, tell Him to give you a sign... Soon enough you will know.

Ok, it's time for me to give you the woman's view... GET OUT WHILE YOU CAN! I'm a 32 year old gal and I can tell you not all of us are moody and emotional. If it's still early in the relationship and your this confused about her emotions and she is telling you"nothing" is wrong, in my mind, there probably isn't. She's just cranky and hormonal.
Of course, I might not be the best one to listen to, after all, I'm still single. Seems like the guys I date sound a lot like your girlfriend. If you give me her number I'll set her up w/ my ex! You're a young guy, you don't need to be tied down to someone who doesn't really act like they want to be in a relationship. Go have fun. Go on a camping trip w/ the guys. If there are any over 30 let me know... ha!

Your girl friend might have a case of being bi polor it means that there mood changes rapidly from time to time over little thing nuthin to be worried about I think you should stay with her just talk and try to calm her down when she not in a good mood

My ex started just like your girlfriend. And got worse, instead of holding feelings in she would yell at me of what she was thinking( usually why she was mad at me) But now I'm thinking she may be bi-polar. She was high maintence and matialistic and most of all selfish. If your girlfriend is like that run and run fast. But if she is like this now how will she be years down the road.

No she wanted to be a lawyer when we first started dating. But didn't want to keep going to school. So she's a paralegal.
