You cαn loosen/ breαk your hymen but--the definition of losing ones virginity is to hαve sexuαl intercourse. α tαmpon cαn breαk the hymen (piece of skin covering the vαginαl opening) but this is not virginity. The hymen cαn be broken mαny wαys, tαmpons, fαlling, riding bikes, fingers, sex, αccidents, or just time some girls don't hαve one or some girls stretch out over time. Some one lαcking α hymen is not necessarily α non virgin

Generally tampon use does not affect the hymen as the hymen moves out of the way of the tampon in most cases. It is flexible in most women, enough to do this.

Your hymen will break the first time you have sex, period. Whether you use tampons or not. If you have been using tampons, it is a good chance your hymen is already broken. If it is, don't worry about it, you are still a virgin. The good thing about it is, you don't have to worry about the bleeding that comes with losing your virginity if your hymen is already broken :)
