    Weird Blood.
    Hello,
I am 18 years old right now, have been sexually active for 2 years with only one guy, and I've been his only girl and we use condoms anytime we have sex. Last time (before this bleeding began) I had sex was about three weeks or so before that. I am not on any birth control pills anymore, and I haven't been for a year and a half or so because they made me very ill. I am not stressed, and have been exercising daily. I am also overweight, but not by much.

Anyway, for the past 3 weeks or so, even during when I was supposed to have my period, I've had a brown, not quite discharge, but blood. Discharge is supposed to be mucusy, this is like blood blood, thin yet brown. I had a light period during this time for about 2 days, and that's it. But 5 days before that, up until now, just over three weeks later, I still have this brown blood. I don't know what it is, or anything. It doesn't hurt, minus feeling slightly bloated (on and off) and my back hurts (but I fractured it years back, it just hurts a little more than usual). Does anybody know what this is, or at least has an idea? My doctor is very rude and mean, and I don't want to go see her. But unless you think it's something I should go see her for, I will. Anyway, any ideas, PLEASE?

Its quite possible your experiencing implantation bleeding, which is an early sign of pregnancy. Its good that you use condoms, but truth be told there only so effective. Did you have your period or did you completely skip it? Bloating and back pains are also an early sign, but like you say it might just be because of your previous fracture. Well if you say during that time you were also soppose to be on your period, wait until your next one, if you miss it, I think its time for an HPT.

    Hope this helps!

Thank you so much for your reply! And I kind of had it, in the sense it was light (actual blood) for not even a day, so that may have been fluke or something. But, if I miss the next one next month, I'll keep you posted on the HPT. I'm going away to university next month at the end of the month too haha. That will be one interesting Christmas dinner if I am when I come back I tell you! Haha

Yea that would be interesting, ha ha. Implantation bleeding, can occur from 6-12 days after intercourse, and its only soppose to last a couple of days. So it may not have been your period at all.

It is best to go to your doctor for any questions like this. The reason being is an examination is best. Do I personally think there is anything series the answer is no. It is best to be safe then sorry, right. I doubt it is implantation bleeding but you never know. I think it is best to see your doctor to get blood work done and examination. Good luck.
