Condenser is located in loft closet above my bedroom. It is so loud that I can't sleep with the A/C on. Any suggestions.

The condenser can't be in a closet, are you talking aout the furnace/air handler? Is it louder than usual?

Air handlers can be quite loud, depending on how big they are. I suggest putting heavy sound insulation around the wall and ceiling on both sides. It's the cheapest way to get what you want.
