    UPDATE, swollen under eyes
In between my dogs nose and the flap under his eyes are swelling. It looks all pink and like there is almost a pimple there. Its not a pimple though I don't know how to explain it. There is two next to his nose and one inside the flap under his eye. Also, on his other eye there is one on the bottom part under his eye. Anyone have any idea what this could be and what I should do?

I noticed from another post on July 8th that your dog was ill, maybe this is just another symptom of his illness. If you haven't taken him to the vet maybe you should do so now. If you have already taken him maybe you should give them a call and explain his new problem to them. It really sounds like some type of infection or allergic reaction. I really think you need to speak with a vet.

First off, I'd say vet. They can tell you exactly what's wrong with your dog.

Does it look like this: Cherry eye - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sounds like cherry eye to me,which is prolapse of the third eye lid.The only thing that will fix this is surgery.Look it up on the internet and see if this sounds like what your dog may have, but you will need to see a vet to be sure.

No, its not cherry eye. Its inside the wrinkle between his nose and his eye. You kind of have to gently pull the wrinkle up to see it.

Not only are vets better trained than us here, they can see what you are trying to describe. They can also ask you questions, and know what is going on with other dogs in the area. It doesn't sound to me like something you need to panic and seek help for, before Monday.

It could be irritation, since you say its in the wrinkle. If your dog is an english bulldog,or perhaps a sharpei, the folds between the wrinkles can become irritated.Sometime yeast can grow in these areas. You should see a vet, this sounds uncomfortable.Let us know how your dog is doing.:)

    Swollen under eyes
I took him in this morning because he also broke out with a pimple like rash on his belly and inner thighs. He was also limping, there was something wrong with his left front paw. Anyway, he has a yeast and bacterial infection on all the above mentioned areas. I need to use a topical pad and clean all areas and give him an oral antibiotic. It should clear up within 2-3 weeks. The reason I posted my question here was because it was the weekend and I was just looking for some advice. Thanks for all of your advice.

Yes, thanks for the update. It is tough for us to say just what the problem is even if it would have reassured you over the weekend.

I decided to merge the update and original.
