    Aromatized
What exactly is "Aromatized" Bearberry Extract (Benzylarbutin) and how can it be any stronger than methylarbutin, alpha arbutin?

"Aromatized" just means it smells pretty. They've added fragrance. It has nothing to do with strength.

Aromatic compounds refer though those that have in some way a benzene like ring strutcure or "aromatic" ring benzyl (C6O6) vs methyl (CH3) arbutin is presumably more permeable to the hydrophobic (water hating) nature of the skin and membranes of cells, hence supposedly rendering this compound to be more effective.

Thanks Rez, that explains a lot why adding benzyl group makes the arbutin/pyranoside molecule target the melanocytes more than arbutin or even alpha-arbutin did in my experience.
