I am an American citizen and would like to learn more about the American Constitution. Where may I take a beginner's course in Bakersfield, California?

Try you local community college. However, our founders were NOT like the politicians of today. They wrote what they meant and they meant what they wrote. Plus, they did it simply. The Constitution is only about 3 pages and you CAN understand it.

Your first step would be to read the text of the Constitution. If there are still things you don't understand, you can ask specific questions here. If you want more I would suggest sitting in on an American History course at a local college.
