    What I want to do if "local disk drive c" opens automatically
    Hi;
    When I am log in to my computer each time my "local disk drive c" is opening automatically.what I want to do stop opening of drive.

    Check there is not a shortcut to it in your start up folder on your startmenu. Also make sure you are closing it before you shut down.

    What version of windows are you running? I might be able to give you better advice with that info.

    Open msconfig and check to see there is nothing in there pointing to "c:\" or "\"

    check the msconfig as mentioned above, make sure you close explorer before shut down or restart, go to windows/system in explorer and look for explorer.exe and right click on it and go to properties and in the target box - make sure there is nothing after explorer.exe for ex.. /x or /*anything, all you want is just explorer.exe, if anthing after that - erase and click apply or OK
