For the past 5monhts my period has been changing from date to date. One month it will come on the 8th the next on the 28th. That never worried me a lot but the past two months I have been getting really dark blood before my natural flow of my period. I am even getting brown spots a few days before hand. I really don't know what this means and would like some help is there any one that may be able to advise me I would really appreciate this.

The really dark and brown looking blood is old blood. There is nothing to worry about there :)

As far as your period fluctuating, I would like to know, how old are you? And are you taking any kind of medication, including birth control?

I am getting really worried I have never really experienced something like this before and just want to know what the cause of it is. I should be on my period by now but all I am getting is dark brown blood. I am 21

Also I am not taking anything I was planning to go back on the pill just to regulate my period but at the moment my period still hasn't come so I have been able to take it. The only thing I have taken in the last 5days is antibiotics

Some antibiotics can throw off your period a little. The really dark brown blood just means it is really old blood. There really isn't anything to worry about. :)

I really am gratful for you taking the time to reply to my question. I was worried cause my period usually comes around the 11th but all I have been getting is old blood. And I have never had it before. Is there any reason this could happen or is it just usual

It is more normal than some people think. Its just the color that the blood turns while sitting in your uterus waiting for your next period. I'm happy I could help you :)
