    Early signs of labour?
I'm 37wks pregnant with my second child and apart from the main 3 obvious signs of labour is there anything else?like my pubic bone has become very tender and I keep having sharp pains in that area.iv also bee having lots of braxton hicks.my midwife has told me the baby is in position.does any of these signs mean labour is going to come very soon?

Not necessarily. You can be experiencing braxton hicks for a long time before labor, and the pain you are feeling could be anything from where the baby dropped to stronger contractions. You are definitely close, but until your contractions start becoming more consistent, you are probably a ways off. Some women start dialation weeks before hand and that could explain the tenderness in the pubic area, but that is all normal preparation. Good luck, you are almost there!
