    The right song to sing.
Hey, I'm Hayley, I'm 16 and I'm part of a theatre school in Billingham, UK. Erm, we're all about developing new skills and learning new things everyday, and so our director comes up with an idea that will apparantly boost our confidences, but also let him get to know us a little more.
He's decided we all have to sing a song on our own in front of everyone in the theatre group (about 30 people including the director) - trouble is, I can't sing!
He's gave us the option to lip-sync if we're terrible but I'd rather not because I think I would feel dafter, he said we can use the instrumental to sing along to, use the original track and just sing over it, or sing it acapella (without music) - but we all have to be using a mic (obviously off if we're lip-syncing)...does anyone know of any easy songs to sing ?
    Cheers :)

It depends on your range. How do you sound the best? High? Low?

Ermm. Well like I say I've never really sang to an audience so I don't really know, but I find it harder to hit high notes so I'm probably best sounded to low.

I know lots of people don't like her, but Britney Spears's songs don't USUALLY get very high. Listen to a few of her songs :)

A BREAK for WANT TO BE ENTERTAINERS.

This story needs to be told. While surfing the net yesterday

I came to a site called tomhelmandpartners.info. This site is a

Dream come true for all of the people around the world who have

Wanted to become, singers, dancers, or any type of entertainer.

The webmasters are giving people a chance to send in a video

Of their act and it will be shown on their site for FREE. You will

Have a chance to perform on websites, TV commercials, weddings,

Clubs or anyplace that needs entertainment. They say they have

Job openings now, waiting to be filled. I wish I could do

Something worth while, so I could send in a video. I thought I

Would pass this along to those of you that have some talent, and

Maybe I can help someone be a star. The group also has another

Site with the same name except, com instead of .info. It looks

To me like these people really know their stuff, when it comes to

Building sites. Did I mention they have a full time

Producer/Director on staff to help you along the way?

Well I have no talent, so I can just wish everyone else

    Good Luck.

    Singing
