Roommate 1st and last, no deposit
I found a roommate and the agreement was 1st and last and no deposit. She is in real estate and has not sold a thing in a year in FL. She came up short 20. And still owes me 25. For replacing a burner on the stove when she fell asleep drunk while cooking liquifying a pan on the stove damaging the burner and the drip pan and now has a dark spot on the porcelin where the handle melted. She is moving cause the electric bill is 250. She only pays 1/3. We have an issue with the last 2 rooms of the house being extremely hot. The L lady has had an a/c guy here and he checked everything and stated that it may be from the computers being left on and the windows not closed tight. Well these old Florida windows don't stay tight they loosin up after a week maybe. The a/c guy also stated that the insulation is down up in the attic.
So roommate paid me for July and wants me to return her money since she paid for this month and last month. She was told verbally if she wanted to move give me 30 day notice. I told her that if she planned to move out she should have told me end of June and not paid for July. She is now paid rent up until aug 31. If she chooses to move out before that that will be her choice.

    Thanks,
    N2

BTW, I am the lease, she is not on the lease~
