I recently installed new plumbing in my basement for a bathroom I'm finishing which is directly under the 2 upstairs bathrooms. Can I vent the pipes where I have it labeled? Keep in mind, the pipes are already cemented in and the main line where I have it marked is accessible but the vent would have to go out of the side of my hous by my air conditioner. Also, I can't find a vent for the bathrooms upstairs but I assume they are in the wall where I can't see them. THANKS in advance!!

Before you even began this work you MUST know what you have and what you have not. Go into your attic and check to see that both lavatorys have vents.
Your proposed,(dotted line) vent won't fly. A vent must be upstream from a fixture to vent it.
Bear this in mind as I remark on the rest of your lay out. Code dictates that you MAY NOT discharge a major fixture, (toilet) past a unvented minor one, (sink,shower,tub etc.)
Having said that the right hand up bath is vented correctly. The rest of the bathroom groups are not. If the showers were discharged into the lav drain they would be wet vented but you show them connecting downstream from the toilets. Either the drawing's wrong or you have major vent problems. Ok, the drawing is wrong to a point. The pipe layout for the upstairs bathrooms are are wrong on the drawing. The purpose was mainly to show you what was above the project. The house is only about 3 years old also. Now for the basement pipes. In your reply you said...

How about a major fixture past a VENTED minor one? I have access to vent the sink pipe. I obviously have no idea about plumbing ventilation so could you possibly inform me on the dangers/problems that could arise from this poor ventilation? Thanks A LOT for your help.

If the basement layout is correct and you run a vent out for the lavatory you are still discharging the toilet past the unvented shower. To correct this the shower drain must be tied into the lavatory drain before the lav drain ties into the toilet drain. That will wetvent the shower. You asked about vents.
Let me explain. When you pull a plug or flush a toilet the water going down the pipe sets up a suction. This has to be relieved by outside air or the drainage is impeded . Hence a pipe through your roof. If the vent is blocked by a birds nest or a dead critter or does not exist the water will pull suction through the nearest trap and you will hear a gurgle. It may be a fixture trap or the toilet may talk to you but you will hear it someplace. It is possible for the suction to pull enough water out of a trap seal to have sewer gas escape. Sewer gas is hazardous to your families health and the methane content is explosive. And now you know about vents. Regards, Tom

Ok. Since there isn't a way to tie the shower drain to the lav drain (concrete), will it work if I put a vent just upstream of the toilet as pictured? If that doesn't work, can I just vent all 3 individually and tie them together and run them out of the side of the house?

You are still discharging a major fixture past two unvented minor ones with the vent up stream from the toilet. Yes, you may tie all three together and run one common vent out the side . What you can not do is terminate the vent under a window, door or within 10 feet of such openings unless it's at least 2 feet above such opening. I'm paraphrasing out of the Code Book here.

Ok, so to make it easier, can I vent the shower and the lav and combine those vents together making one vent? Also, when you say "terminate", you don't mean cap it off do you? That would defeat the purpose of a vent wouldn't it? I assume you mean it the same way the furnace is vented out of the side of the house. Is that the type of termination you're talking about? I certainly didn't mean for you to "cap" off the vent, although if you're terminating, (ending) the vent out a wall you should screen the end.
Connecting both vents together to form a common vent is acceptable. Good luck, Tom
