    My sons first birthday
My first born child will be one year on 3rd of August. And I want to invite friends and families. Therefore I want to make it a good and memorable party. Please share me how I should go about it.

    Thank you

Why not ask the advice of other family members with children who have had children's parties.

Be sure that you understand that this is more of a party for you. He will not remember it or understand that the party is for him. He will have a great time, enjoy everything even the cake. The m ore people you invite the more overwelmed he will be. Invite family and a few close friends an leave it at that. A child at this age does not need a clown or other amusement.

We just had our close friends and family come to our house. I made a cake for everyone and then I made one small round cake for my son. No need to go and buy fancy cakes, he won't remember it, and as the above poster said, won't even know what's going on. I had snacks for the guests (chips etc.) and we sang to him, and the main entertainment was stripping him down to his diaper and letting him go to town on his little cake. Then we did presents and everyone left. They won't really get into parties until maybe 3.
