    Confidence Building
I just started a new job. I love the job.. its exciting, challenging and I am certainly growing from the whole experience. My main challenge at the moment is that, I have not had the kind of exposure I have now with my previous jobs. I meet senior people, people with lots of experience and I attend meetings which I am some times clue less on the topic. My boss does not make it any easier.. he is extremely intelligent, and I get intimidated in his prescence. I feel like I cannot match up to his experience.

I have improved a lot over the last week. Did a lot of reading on confidence building, I am also about to start my therapy sessions to get the help of a counselor.

I just need more tips on how to go about building my confidence.

Well first off, try not to look at it as "they have so much more experience then I do"... try looking at it like "I have people who can teach me how to better myself in the work place". Getting the councilor was a good idea, as they know much more about this kind of stuff then I do.
Just remember that you're there as an employee but also as someone who is learning (and who might some day get promoted:)). Try looking at it from a positive point of view, not a negative one.:)Good Luck With Your Job.
