    Dryer won't heat up
Our gas dryer has suddenly stopped heating up when I turn it on. Everything seems OK but there is no heat an dno drying going on.
    Any ideas?

Post in appliance section you will get more responses. Probably a thermostat. You will need to open unit up and test for continuity with a multimeter

    Could it be the igniter?

It could be or could be other componets. You will need a meter to do testing to determine which is out. Anything else is just guessing ir changing out parts. Do you have a meter? If so eliminate the thermostats first. Easier yet, Have you checked the vent and tubing all the way out to where it exits house? If it is restricted you will not dry clothes either.
