Let see... I have been off depo for 7 months now.. everything was perfect, but not now. I just recently had my "period" or spotting spree from June 28th until July 5th. I just recently ended. & now today, I just went to the bathroom and wiped and found "pink" on the tissue. I am not trying to be descriptive, but its botherig me. I really do not want to have another period. All the other months were perfect... 4 to 7 day period than no more for the month. Now all of a sudden I get it once and then it comes back. Do you think it could be the Depo again? I'm just worried and really concerned because I do not like this "spotting" show anymore. My period was normal... until I got on this crap.


Can some one tell me if this is still depo causing this or is it just me?
Also... I have been gaining excessive amount of weight lately. I have no idea why.

Anyone have any suggestion on a good diet that can help me lose a bunch of weight?

Please help and give me some advice... I hate this crap. Really do

I Think I Have The Same Problem But Kind of Different.
Im Still On Depo And I Gained Like A Lot Of Weight I Used To Weigh 50-55kg Now I Nearly Weigh 75kg..
Is It Beacause Of Depo?

I heard that depo makes you gain weight... I have gained weight when I was on it and I have been gaining some too since I got off.. When I began I weighed like 150lbs and now I weight 224. Its ridiculous.. Like we go on depo to not get pregnant or fix our periods and we end up with all these symptoms... I really don't think its worth all the trouble. :( I hate depo.. I hate having my period and gain weight.. it sucks... I was on Depo from March 2006 until October 2006. I got off After the October Shot ran out and now I have nothing but problems. I hate it!

It does really suck, I used to be on the pill but it still did the same thing,
I've heard there is a pill that you can get that prevents you from getting pregnant and helps you loose weight but you just forget to take them all the time.

It is a side effect of being on the depo injection. I to am on the injection and have gained a lot of weight. I was told that when I come of the injection that my weight will decrease to its usual weight before the depo. I also do not have any periods while on the depo injection and have been told it can take any where from 2 weeks to 2 years for your body to get back to normal. Just hope its soon.

The Depo can take up to a year to fully be out of your body. In some cases, I've even heard of 2 years. The spotting is more than likely still caused by the Depo. Weight gain is a side effect of the Depo, but usually when it is out of your body SOME of the weight will come off on its own.

Cutting carbs is a good way to diet. But remember you always have to accompany it with exercise!

I would NOT recommend going on Depo again. I was on it and I am NEVER getting it again. I just got an IUD today. If you want a long term birth control, you might want to look into the IUD :)
