    Workgroup unaccessible
I have a computer I need to put onto a workgroup which is currently opperational with 13 other devises and computers. When I try and access the workgroup it tells me that I do not have permissions or have limited or no connectivety but, I am able to access the internet with the same computer. This computer can ping all of the other computers as well. The plan for this computer is to set it up with a shared external HD which will be accessed by the rest of the 13 computers. That will be its sole purpose. Can somebody please help me with this issue.

Thanks for the reply but, I have already set it up in the workgroup but it still doesn't allow me to look in on all the computer's that are on that workgroup. I have the firewall down on all computers and same accounts on all computers. Still having problems...

Check whether that PC's IP address is in the same subnet mask range of the other PC's

Yes subnet mask and gateway are same as the rest. It aquires its ip off dhcp so that is not a problem.

This is a military network that I ran the cable to the server so I know that it only has one path to go through to get onto a server...

Are you using pwd for all account logins on all computers?
