Is saline solution the best way to clean a belly piercing?
I'm getting my belly pierced in a few days and some people are telling me to clean it with alcohol, some say peroxide , some say don't use alcohol or peroxide but mostly everyone says saline is the best so is it? And how often do I need to clean it? And how long does it take to heal? How long do I have to wait to change the belly ring?

Just like with the nose piercing, clean it only with antibacterial soap. That is absolutely all you need.

Saline solotions dry out piercings and prolong healing.

Clean it once a day with some anti bacterial soap and a Q-tip.

It will take an average time of one and a half years for your belly button ring to completely heal.

Wait about 6 weeks before changing rings.

    Yes I would recommend Dial.

Put the soap into your hands and bring it to a lather, as if you were washing your hands. Then coat a Q-tip with the lather you have created on your hands. Clean the piercing really well with the Q-tip, and move the piercing back and forth only ONCE. Up once, down once. Then just rinse with warm water.
